I don't know how weight sensitive that one is so don't go too crazy if you go with epoxy. The designer, shrox, pops on here from time to time. Maybe you can ask him why he chose CA for that part.

GH makes a good case. Other builders have their favorite glues. When building a kit I usually follow the manufacturers recommendations, for what that's worth. What kit are you building ?
