I can attest to their lack of manual skills when I started two years ago; they have improved a lot. And I do let them use X-Acto knives; blood washes out of the carpet, but epoxy never will. SO you...

BMS 3" School Rocket

Last night I started on a BMS 3" School Rocket. I'm planning to have the kids in my rocketry project group build them this year, and I hate to have them build something I haven't built. I have to...

I miss the B4-6 also, but mainly because I loved how it got the old Centuri Bandito into the air. The difference is small, but noticeable.

As an aside: Given that 13mm engines fit (barely) into...

I buy what engines I don't have stockpiled from Wal-Mart clearance at Hobby Lobby, and they don't carry A8-0's, at least not around here. Unfortunate. B6-0 and C6-0 engines are readily available.

New Semroc Blue Bird Zero

So one of my 4-H kids ordered the BBZ from erockets.biz. It's the first Semroc kit I've seen since Semroc sold, and overall I'm fairly impressed.

Just one thing stood out as an issue: The engine...
